Vilanova / Barcelona 2006: Memories of GUADECs past

Translations: es Monday 20/November/2023 - Tags: GUADEC, photos

Light shaft at Gaudi's Casa Batlló. Windows with skull shapes and wooden framing, and a door with warm lighting from the inside.

Rear courtyard of the Casa Batlló, with capricious ironwork along the balconies.

Spire and parapet at the Administrative Pavilion at Parc Güell. Both have curved, tactile shapes and are covered in blue and white broken tiles.

Bare Neo-Gothic windows at Sagrada Familia, where the stained glass has not been set yet.

Jim Gettys demonstrating One Laptop Per Child's X-O laptop. It has funny ear-like antennae.
