And yet, I've seen some of the most experienced / respected members of each community explain that yes, it's OK to buy milk in the supermarket once in a while; yes, it's OK to use an electric saw for large boards; yes, it's OK to use Skype to talk to your mom if doing otherwise would mean straining your family relationships.
Let's call these actions the fact that you may live in more than one system at a time, and you interface them at the right or critical times.
